Fun times!!

Friday was the annual book parade at school. This is Cade's first year and Callie's last year to participate. It seems like yesterday I was helping Callie get ready for her first. Time flies!! Here are some pictures of the kids!

This is Callie's outfit..I cut out all the letters of the alphabet and taped them on her shirt..maybe it's not very creative but I thought it worked out just fine!!! This was a favorite of Callie's when she was younger. I still remember reading it to her! Chicka chicka boom boom, will there be enough room...........time flies!!!

This is Cade's....he wanted to be Biscuit and we had this mask from a Christmas play he was in at my Grandparent's church. He also had a shirt and pants that went with it to complete the puppy dog look, but it was too hot to wear today. It was in the upper 80's today! I thought he looked cute!

And speaking of puppy dogs...check this out. This is Ellie and her dog that she named "Paws!" I thought it was pretty creative!! She also thought he needed to wear something....................check out Paws! She was so proud of herself!!

And one more thing........look what Cade has learned to do over the last few days! We are so excited!!!!!!!

He says "Hey, watch me ride my two wheel bike!" So cute!

How lucky we are to get to see all these sweet things our babies are learning to do. Each day brings something fun and new!!

No pictures of Cale this week. He has been so sick..on day 10 of his antibiotics for strep throat, he began running fever again. I took him back to the Dr. and he now has an ear infection. He now has a new antibiotic to take for 10 more days. Poor thing!

Hello!!! I haven't posted in FORever!!! I happened to look at my page the other night and was so glad to "look" back at all the memories I had posted. I was ashamed that I haven't kept this up because it is a great way to "remember" everything!! So, I am going to give it my all!!

Today started off rocky...Ellie had been running fever since Saturday night so I took her to see the Dr. It was confirmed that she indeed had STREP throat...(Cale had it last week so I kind of figured) =( I can't stand for my kids to be so sick. So we went to Wal-Mart and got her prescription filled and had to make a purchase....Something fun!!

We got bubbles!!! I don't know why I didn't take a picture, but I bought each of the "babies" a spill proof bubble carrier...with three wands and a handle to carry it around with. Even though Ellie wasn't feeling well, I had to let her have a little fun!!!

Next..my Grandma and Aunt Becky showed up to help me with Something pretty!!!! I have never done this alone so they came to show me the ropes!!

They helped me pot Something pretty!!! Some colorful flowers for the front porch...our porch desperately needs painting, I know!! I sure hope I can keep these flowers alive!

While we were outside potting these..I got a call from the SCHOOL nurse =( Cade had hurt his arm on the playground equipment. Luckily, they had no reason to believe anything was broken, etc...he was very upset though, they said. They told me he was crying and said he was scared because he told them he was afraid he was going to be stuck forever and not get to see his Mommy again. What a soft hearted sweetie...I love that little boy so much!!! As you can see though, by the time he got home...he wasn't too worried about it!

School books.. Callie gets to check out books at the School library to bring home. She ALWAYS checks out these kind of books............

How sweet, how innocent and oh how I wish we were able to start building today, so we could get this sweet girl a puppy!

And last but not least....stinker!!!! Yes, we have one of those...our little man does not like to stay in his new toddler bed. He gets out a million times before he actually falls asleep! He sleeps with his "blankie" every night. So sweet!!

Walking

My baby boy is officially walking.....well almost anyway. Cale took 15 steps today! It is so cute to watch! I will post pictures tomorrow. Today, I just wanted to enjoy the moment......I often feel like I miss things just by taking pictures....if that makes any sense! I can't believe I almost have an official toddler on my hands =-) What a fun age!

Banana Pudding

Just thought I would add one of my favorite recipes! This is so easy!

• 3-4 Bananas
• Vanilla Wafers- I use Jacksons
• 1 carton of cool whip
• 1 8oz block cream cheese
• 2 small boxes of instant french vanilla pudding

In large bowl beat the 2 boxes of pudding with 3 cups of milk until smooth. Next, in a small bowl beat cream cheese until smooth, then add to pudding mixture and beat. Then fold in cool whip. Lastly, layer bananas, vanilla wafers, and pudding! Very easy and very yummy!!!

Trying So Hard!!!!

My baby boy wants to walk.....bad!!! All of a sudden too. Just within the last two days he has began letting go of the furniture or toy he is pulled up on and standing alone for a few seconds. He is also taking a small step or two toward something he really wants. I broke out the lion toy that he is pulling up to and not walking, but running with. He will be another one of mine that doesn't start walking, but starts RUNNING! I love all these sweet milestones!!

And another exciting thing is......Cale has also began saying Mama alot more freely and often! I'm loving it!!!!!!!

It's Been A WHILE!!!!

As you can tell by looking through these pictures, we had two small parties for Cale. Daddy was out of town the week of his actual birthday...soooooo, we were able to meet him half way at Olive Garden to celebrate!!

Well, alot has happened since the last time I updated my blog! I have been gone because Ellie Maggie threw the laptop from the chair to the floor and broke the screen. We have been spending a lot of time in the pool. We have also celebrated Cale's first Birthday. Wow, time flies!! I still can't believe that our 4Th baby is 1..

Cale,

You are such a sweet baby boy. Always smiling, laid back, snuggle bug!! WE are so glad to have you in our lives!! Your brother and sisters love you a TON. You are still not walking, but can do some speed crawling. You do pull up and cruise around furniture, and occasionally let go for a few seconds. Your favorite word is still DaDa but also say, DAddy, Mama, Bite, and crack everyone up because you say, EI-Ei-O. You love Baby Einstein movies, especially Baby MacDonald. You actually slept 3 nights in a row this past week! You are growing up before our eyes! We love you Cale Aaron!!!!
